Listen up...... If you have ever gone over your authorised overdraft limit, missed or made a late payment to your credit or store card, YOU could be entitled to claim back some or all of the money that the bank, credit card or store card has charged you.
What's the catch?
None, nothing, zero, but everything to gain...
Why can I do this?
The government recently introduced some new laws which basically state that you, (the valued customer), can't be charged more than £12.00 for a late payment or going over your authorised overdraft. Which means you can now claim back the charges from these nasty, profit making companies. (Dating back from when you opened the account).
So how do I claim then?
Simply, copy and paste the text (see below) into a word document, and enter the details relevant to you. Once done, simply send the letter to any bank, credit card or store card that has ever imposed a charge on you.
What next?
Sit back and relax! The bank/s will generally send you a letter to acknowledge your letter and advise they will respond shortly. You should then receive a letter, which will offer you a payment, which you can either choose to accept, or reject and ask for more. Or they may tell you that they are not going to pay you, which means you will need to send another letter, informing them that you will take them to court, unless they re-consider.
So does it work?
Yes it does, but that's not say it's going to work every time. As you know Banks like to make money, and they are probably trying to find away of getting out of making any more payments. But there are lots of success stories, I recently settled with one bank for £350.00 and my flat mate received a letter offering £1000.00!
Why am I doing this?
Because I'm a nice guy and I want to spread a bit of happiness in the world! If you are successful in making your claim, then please visit my wish list or donate a small amount of your windfall, so that I can carry on the good work! (Donate button at the top and bottom of the site).

Dear Sir / Madam,
Sort Code / Account number or Credit Card Number.
Due to recent media coverage on bank charges and the recent OFT announcement I am now aware that you, (name of bank / credit card here), have been charging me, charges, that are contrary to the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts Regulations 1999. Schedule 2 (e) of the said regulations gives a non-complete list of terms, which may be regarded as unfair, such as a term that requires me as a consumer who fails in his obligation, to pay a disproportionately high sum in compensation.
I believe that your charges are disproportionately high. Therefore, they are contrary to the Unfair Terms in Consumer Regulations 1999. In addition, I believe that your charges are a Penalty. Penalty charges are irrecoverable at common law. The precedent for this was Dunlop Pneumatic Tyre Co Ltd v New Garage and Motor co Ltd [1915] AC 79.along with Murray v. Leisure play [2005] EWCA Civ 963 It was held that a contractual party can only recover damages for an actual loss or liquidated losses. It is clear that your charges do not reflect any actual and or real loss.
Your charges appear to be nothing more than a profit-making scheme. Therefore, I require you to refund my entire bank charges for the past (enter years here) years. Along with evidence that you have refunded all the charges. I hereby give you 14 days notice to refund the charges back on to my account. If this is not done within 14 days, I will be forced to start legal proceedings, you will receive no further warnings.
Yours Sincerely
